摘      要:Three predominant paradigms describe the organizational structure of most organizations;rational, natural and open. This paper examines each of these paradigms, exploring their main characteristics and most recognized forms of application. The review further provides an overview of how these systems compare and contrast to each other, with examples of organizations that utilize these different organizational systems. In this ever increasingly complex world of crisis response, it is reasonable to expect that complex organizations will need to be created. The paper seeks to provide an insight into the complexity of identifying one system as being the singular answer to what can be defined as the best organization to respond to crisis events.
