摘 要:Foliar epiphytes are a polyphyletic group mostly found on the surface of leaves with worldwide distribution. Many species of foliar epiphytes are obligate parasites which can reduce yield and quality of crops by absorbing plant nutrients, while some species indirectly affect plants by covering the host surface and thus reducing photosynthesis. The classification and phylogeny of foliar epiphytes are presently poorly known worldwide, for most of foliar epiphyte species are obligate parasites and are difficult or normally could not be cultured. In the meanwhile, directly sequence from mycelium or ascomata also have a problem with contamination and other problems. So far, we have introduced 3 new taxa, which are Ceramothyrium longivolcaniforme sp. nov., Irenopsis walsurae sp. nov. and Lembosia xyliae sp. nov.. And provided new sequences of Meliola clerodendricola, Meliola tamarindi and one Asterina species. The main objective of this study is to figure out the phylogeny and evolutionary relationships of foliar epiphytes by direct sequencing and further to gain knowledge of fungi–plant relationships.
