摘 要:正The evaluation of failure of adhesive joints is of great importance in the use of bonding for structural application. A detailed testing procedure for adhesive joints with metal substrate has also been standardised in ASTM standard (D 3433-93) to measure the strain energy release rate (G). More recently, the effect of substrate material on mode-Ⅰadhesive fracture energy has been investigated by Bell and Kinloch [1]. Their results indicated that high fracture energy was associated with the substrate material with a higher stiffness even though
