摘 要：正Background and Purpose Recent guidelines concerning prevention of ventilator-associated pneumonia recommend that ventilator circuits should not be changed routinely,but in practice circuit changes at regular intervals ***,the purpose of this study is to determine whether a practice of not routinely changing ventilator circuits in patients who require prolonged mechanical ventilation is associated with an ventilator-associated pneumonia（VAP）.
