Synthesis and Electrochemical Performance of LiMnPO4 Cathode Material for Lithium Ion Battery by Solvothermal

摘 要:LiMnPO has attracted much attention as a candidate for the next generation of lithium ion batteries due to its advanced features: high working voltage(4.1 V vs. Li/Li+), similar to the commercial LiCoO,nontoxic, and low cost[1,2]. But the low electrical conductivity( 10-10 S/cm) and ionic diffusicity( 10-16 cm/s) have limited its practical application. There are some common methods such as solid state reaction, Hydrothermal/solvothermal process, Sol-gel process and Precipitation process, et *** process is the most suitable method for LiMnPO, it can control the morphology and the particle size of materials. In this work, we synthesize LiMnPO/C by solvothermal method. The introduction of glucose and surfactant, decrease the size of particles and short the distance for lithium diffusion. The discharge capacity of LiMnPO/C with glucose and surfactant is 67.6 m Ah/g at 1 C, is3.4 times than that of without them, who also has the excellent rate capability.
