摘      要:G-protein coupled receptor (GPR54) is a member of the rhodopsin family and plays a key role in activating the pulsatile release of hypothalamic gonadotropin-releasing hormone, which is crucial for puberty onset. The aim of this study was to characterize GPR54 and provide a starting point for evaluating the association of the variants in this gene with puberty in pigs.
