摘 要:Scalp EEG has a superior time resolution among non-invasive brain recording methods, which make it possible to be used not only for real-time applications as brain computer interface (BCI), but also for investigating the transient cognitive brain function. However, the signal recorded by an EEG electrode is difficult to be directly attributed to the underlying cortical activities due to the inhomogeneous conducting structure of the human head. Ton of efforts have been made to develop methods of extracting single-trial brain dynamics from scalp recordings.
