摘 要:The root stem cell niche defines the region that specifies and maintains the stem cells and is essential for the maintenance of root *** this study,we describe the functional role of RopGEF7,a QC-expressed RAC/ROP GTPase activator,in root stem cell niche *** of RopGEF7 by RNA interference induced defects in embryo patterning,QC maintenance and root *** expression data indicate that RopGEF7 is required for the root meristem maintenance by controlling the expression of Plethora(PLT) transcription factors,which are key stem cell determinants that mediate the patterning of the root stem cell *** analyses show that RopGEF7 acts in the PLT pathway and in parallel with SHR and SCR in control of the QC ***,auxin stimulates RopGEF7 transcription
