摘 要:正3GPP TSG GERAN has recently standardized the Downlink Advanced Receiver Performance (DARP) for the GSM. In this study, we investigate the corresponding single antenna interference cancellation (SAIC) techniques, with which the network capacity and/or the transmission quality in the GSM can be greatly improved. Focus is put on the filter-based SAIC approach and its performance under 3GPP test scenarios, since it can be easily implemented as an add-on to the existing equalizer and offer a powerful and backward compatible solution for the GSM handsets. Possible solutions to the GSM uplink as well as EDGE systems are also discussed.
