Screening of drought tolerant rice germplasms and analysis of drought tolerant QTL under long-term drought stress conditions

摘 要:Little progress has been made in the genetic analysis of drought tolerance,because it is a complex trait controlled by a number of genes and affected by various environmental *** here,we screened drought tolerant varieties with modified leaf water loss rate assay and visual drought tolerant phenotype in the greenhouse conditions with more than 800 *** these varieties,Samgang,Gumei4 and Apo showed the lowest of leaf water loss rate and strong drought tolerant phenotype and we choose Samgang for further *** identify which chromosome loci in Samgang have functions for drought tolerant,we generated a double-haploid(DH)population of 101 individuals derived from a cross of the drought tolerant variety Samgang and the drought sensitive variety *** drought phenotype and relative water content(RWC)were examined for phenotypic evaluation of double-haploid population under drought stress *** score the drought phenotype degrees of this population,we withheld water for 6weeks and treated the watering for 7 *** watering,visual phenotype was observed 1 to 9 degree according to the standard evaluation system for rice,*** sensitive parent Nagdong was almost died and was scored as 9 degree,while tolerant parent Samgang showed slightly leaf tip drying phenotype and was scored as 3 degree in our experimental *** of 3 QTLs were detected on chromosome2,6,and 11 for visual drought phenotype with 175 molecular *** these QTLs,QTL on chromosome 11 with flanking markers RM26755-RM287 accounted for 24.4%phenotype variation with a LOD score of *** this QTL also functioned for relative water content trait.
