摘 要：正In-situ stress state has been shown to be important for engineering constructions. As for large and medium-size works,it is imperative to have in-situ stress measurement as a key procedure,so that we can use the favorable and avoid the unfavorable aspects of the stress state to achieve reasonable designs. The relationship between the in-situ stress measurement and engineering as well as the applications of the stress data to various fields of engineering are discussed in the present paper.
