摘 要:正 Transition-metal-mediated living radical polymerization, sometimes known as atom transfer radical polymerization (ATRP), is now one of the most rapidly developing areas in the past several years. The sandwich metallocene complexes are the most studied organometallic complexes and have good reversibility between the reduced and oxidized forms. With a view to develop a new ATRP catalyst system with two cyclopentadienyl ligands, we studied the radical polymerization based on cobaltocene and ethyl 2-bromoisobutyrate (EBiB) and found that the EBiB/Cp2Co system can initiated MMA and styrene living radical polymerization (Table 1).
