Identification of Lycoris microRNAs and their targets with high-throughput sequencing analysis

摘 要:Plant microRNAs(miRNAs) play a role in the regulation of several biological processes such as development,growth and metabolism by negatively controlling gene expression at the post-transcriptional ***,the role of these small molecules in the medicinal species Lycoris remained *** identify novel as well as conserved miRNAs in Lycoris,two sRNA libraries were constructed by sequencing data of control and MeJA treatment of Lycoris aurea *** miRNAs,the sequencing library generated 11.3 million short sequences,resulting in 10.8 million clean reads in control sample and 23.7 million short sequences,resulting in 18.1 million clean reads in treatment sample *** total, 208 *** conserved miRNAs were detected from the two sRNA *** addition,249 potential candidate miRNAs were found;among them,38 candidates with star sequences were chosen as novel *** expression of selected 9 conserved miRNA and 4 novel miRNAs showed notable changes in response to MeJA *** was also confirmed by quantitative real time polymerase chain reaction *** study represents the first transcriptome-based analysis of miRNAs in Lycoris.
