摘      要：正 In 1998, the German Association of Biomedical Engineering （DGBMT） has created the work group Cellular and Tissue Engineering made up of engineers, scientists and physicians from diverse universities and other institutions in all over *** objectives are to coordinate the scientific activities of its members, to offer them the possibility to formulate grant proposals and/or complete these projects together and to allow them the opportunity to exchange ideas and present their work at conferences and in colloquia Ultimately, its goal is to aid the discipline in gaining the,,critical mass it needs to carve out a place for itself in the university *** engineering can be defined as the application of principles and methods of the engineering disciplines and biological sciences with an eye toward understanding fundamental aspects of the mutually-determinative relationship between structure and function in normal and pathological cells.
