摘 要：正Among adolescents with substance use disorders（SUD）,co-occurring mental disorders are both common and *** general,SUD adolescents with co-occurring disorders have more severe psychiat- ric symptoms,are more difficult to treat,incur greater costs,and have worse overall outcomes compared to those without a co-morbid ***,treatment effectiveness is contingent upon the non- targeted co-morbid condition despite the fact that treatment is provided for the principal SUD diagnosis （Kazdin ＆ Weisz,1998）.Therefore,understanding the nature and degree of the relationship between SUD and co-occurring mental disorder is one of the keys to developing more effective treatment and pre- vention programs for drug *** paper briefly reviews evidence from the literature of comorbidity in the U.S.,and presents the most recent findings on the epidemiology of adolescent co-morbidity from the 2000 National Household Survey of Drug Abuse.
