摘 要:In recent years dynamic covalent chemistry has been receiving more and more attention,as such systems afford chemists many opportunities in sensing,new material,catalysis,and so *** the known dynamic covalent systems,imine bond is one of the most studied *** is known the addition of water molecule to an imine yielding a hemi-aminal is not *** less is known on the related system of hemi-aminal ether,which is formed by the addition of an alcohol to the imine function[1,2].We herein report that a cubane-like Cd4O4 cluster compound(1)was formed from cadmium-mediated multi-component *** important intermediate complex(2)by four-component covalent assembly,in which a hemi-aminal ether ligand is formed,most probably by the metal-mediated addition of a primary alcohol to the imine function was isolated(scheme 1).To the best of our knowledgement,complex 2 is the first example of a hemi-aminal ether complex in which the ether oxygen of a hemiaminal ether ligand acts as a donor atom to the metal center.
