摘 要:In today s globalized economy,foreign direct investment(FDI)has been identified as an important driver of economic growth in developing Asian ***,the inflow of FDI is influenced by various factors,and FDI in each region,each country,and each group of economies may involve different set of determinants depending on the destination s own economic,geographical or political characteristics,as well as the investing motives of the *** study examines the impact of infrastructure on FDI inflows in developing Asian countries,with a particular focus on the differences between landlocked and coastal *** results show that transport infrastructure and gross fixed capital formation(GFCF)as a comprehensive proxy for infrastructure have a positive and significant impact on FDI inflows in landlocked ***,for coastal countries,transport infrastructure has no significant effect on FDI *** findings have important theoretical and managerial implications for policymakers to consider when making decisions about infrastructure development and FDI attraction strategies in developing Asian countries.
