Increase of TRPC 3 Expression in Left Atria of Spontaneous Hypertensive Rats

摘      要:Objective: To investigate TRPC 3 expression in left atria of spontaneous hypertensive rats. Method: 6 WKY rats were used as control group, 24 spontaneous hypertensive rats aged 16 weeks were divided in 4 groups, a group of spontaneous hypertensive rats, a group which received ramipril 5mg/kg/d, a group which received valsartan 30mg/kg/d and a group which received amlodipine 5mg/kg/d, each for duration of 4 weeks. Caudal systolic blood pressure and body weight were recorded each day. Expression of TRPC 3 was assessed with RT-PCR. The data are presented as the mean±SD and compared using paired samples T-test. Significance is determined at the p0.05 level. Result and conclusion: (1). Significant increase of TRPC 3 expression of atria was highly related with increase of blood pressure (209.8717±0.99292 vs 0, p-value 0.05). (2). Ramipril, valsartan and amlodipine (185.3983±12.91843, 134.2433±12.91843, 178.455±10.16149 vs 209.8717±0.99292, p-value0.05) showed to attenuate the density of TRPC 3 expression related to lowering blood pressure compare to SHR group. (3). TRPC 6 wasn’t expressed in atria muscle either in WKY rats or in four months of SHR. Our findings support the idea that TRPC 3 has a role in atria of hypertensive heart disease.
