摘 要:Africa’s development landscape is changing with China as the larger trading partner who provides the most needed financial support and know-how for Africa’s economic development. On one hand, the Africa which is a very rich continent in terms of natural resources, still in need financing its economy;on the other hand, China which is a holder of colossal capital, needs in natural resources are increasing. Indeed, while African’s countries need large capital investments than before, it is vital for China to have access to natural resources that are vital to its economic viability. The Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) has become a target for exploitation of natural resources. Since a decade, bilateral relations between China and DRC allowed Chinese mining public and private operators. So China becomes one more of major trading partners of the Democratic Republic of Congo;Chinese economic and commercial activism offers Congo an infrastructure development based formula with long-term commercial goals. And by its massive financial agreements, China should be the first development partner of the Democratic Republic of *** the objective of the study is to assess the impact of the mutual trade on the Congolese growth, mainly on the GDP, six variables were selected, they are:the GDP as the dependent variable or criterion, the household Consumption, the Investment, the government expenditures, the Export and Import as independent variables or predictors. A time-series regression was applied using the VAR model, in order to establish the correlation between the D.V and the I.V. The VAR model results revealed that various factors influenced the GDP over the years, with investment and government purchase impacting positively the growth of the *** the contrary, the other factors such as the export, import, consumption, influenced the GDP negatively. This result however, is in paradox with several others that showed positive correlation between GDP and Export, GDP-Cons
