摘      要：As to the origin of modern citizenship,there are two main explanations:one is War Negotiation Theory represented by Charles *** other is City Type Theory represented by Max *** the combination of the two viewpoints a more comprehensive understanding of the origin of citizenship can be *** modern citizenship is the product of articular economic,political,social,cultural,historical and other factors in modern western capitalist nations,and essentially is the product in the forming process of modern nation-state.
