摘      要：An efficient and simple procedure was developed for the green synthesis of various 2-aryl-l-ben- zylated-1H-benzimidazoles in high yields by condensation of o-phenylenediamine with aldehydes with P2O5/SiO2 as catalyst under solvent-free and ambient conditions.
