摘      要：A new species of non-biting midge（Diptera： Chironomidae）, Microtendipes brevissimus sp. nov.,based on a male from Gutian Mountain in Zhejiang Province is described and illustrated. This new species is characterized by a short anal point, median volsella absent and tergite IX without median seta.
