摘      要：China is one of the largest kenaf production countries in the world, and kenaf is an important fiber crop in our country. With the recognition and finance support from Chinese government, we have got the great achievements in the fields of conservation, evaluation, and utilization of kenaf germplasm. China has got much attention in the word because of having the largest kenaf germplasm gene bank. The germplasm resources of kenaf have played an important role in promoting breeding and development of production in the past years. This paper reviewed the status of kenaf production, collection and conservation, utilization of kenaf germplasm, in the study and utilization of put forward strategies of utilization .This will provide kenaf industry. evaluation, innovation and we also discussed the problems genetic diversity of kenaf, and sustained development and available experiences for the
