摘      要：English teaching and learning in China are more inclined to focus on correcting linguistic errors rather than analyzing thought patterns. However, thought patterns play an important role in many aspects of English teaching. This paper discusses the relationship between thought patterns and languages, and provides some suggestion for English teaching regarding thought patterns.
