基 金：In recent years POPs research in China has progressed rapidly. Many civil research groups have focused on the hot topics in POPs research both in China and internationally. Consequently some important findings have been published in renowned international journals. At the national level many research programs have supported studies on the analytical methods environmental fate ecotoxicology and control of POPs in China. These programs include the National Basic Research Program of China (973) National High-Tech Development Program (863) Scientific and Technological Support Projects and Key Project of Na- tional Science Foundation of China. Under the impetus of the SC international communities have also paid attention to POPs studies in China. International research collaborations and pilot laboratories have been established to help solve POP problems both in China and globally
