摘      要：The igneous rocks in southeastern Hubei Province are mainly Yangshanian syntectic intermediate-acid magrnatic series. According to their regional geological setting, characteristics of ithochemistry, isotope,REE and metallogenic type, the syntectic intermediate-acid magmatic series can be further divided into two subseries: diorite-quartz monzonite magmatic subseries with high content of alkali and sodium, and quartz diorite - granodiorite magmatic subseries with low content of alkali and high potassium. They controlled the distribution and type of iron and copper ore deposits in this area
