摘      要：Introduction According to the latest edition of Diabetes Atlas,the prevalence of diabetes is increasing globally,but the situation is particularly alarming in Asia and in China.[1,2,3] It was estimated that,for the same body mass index (BMI),Asian population had a higher prevalence of diabetes than the non-Asian counterparts,[4] because of the lower BMIs reported in Asian diabetes population.
