摘      要：From the stem bark of Sapium sebiferum a new triterpenoid, named sebiferone (1), was isolated. The structure of the new compound was elucidated as 3β-acetoxy-D-friedoolen-14-en -1-one-28-oic acid on the basis of spectral and chemical methods.
