摘 要:Modeling of carbon monoxide (CO) removal by a corona plasma was conducted in this study. The purification efficiency of CO was calculated theoretically and the factors affecting the removal of CO were analyzed. The results showed that the main removal mechanisms of CO were direct dissociation by generated high-energy electrons and indirect oxidation by generated hydroxyl radicals. The purification efficiency of CO was dependent on the plasma parameters, indoor air humidity and initial concentration of CO. Good consistency between the theoretical calculation and the experimental results was observed.
