摘      要：Although estrogen-dependent effects on thevasculature were first observed more than a centuryago, many of the mechanisms by which estrogensinteract with the vascular wall have been identified onlyin the past 15 years. Estrogens bind to vascularestrogen receptors (ER), including the ERα, the novelERβ as well as to membrane-bound receptors.
