ERYTHROCYTE MEMBRANE LIPID COMPOSITION FLUIDITY IN PATIENTS WITH ESSENTIAL HYPERTENSION

摘 要:The lipid composition and fluidity of erythrocyemembrane in 36 patients with essential hypertensionwere *** results showed that eithercholesterol/phospholipid molar ratio or lipid perox-ides content was significantly increased(P0.01 or0.001),and the superoxide dismutase activity,contentsof four classes of phospholipids,i.e.,phosphotidylethanolamine,phosphotidylcholine,phosphotidylserineand sphingomyelin of erythrocyte membrane,and lipidfluidity were significantly decreased(P0.05,0.01or0.001)as compared with those in 35 normotensivecontrol *** results suggested that thechanges of lipid composition and fluidity might associ-ate with the decreased activities of cation transportsystems in cell membranes and play an important rolein the pathogenesis of essential hypertension.
