Entire Period Halving of Persistent Current in a Mesoscopic Double-Ring System

摘 要:For the non-interacting electrons confined by a mesoscopic double-ring with a magnetic flux threading its centre, we consider the problem of persistent current at zero andfinite temperatures. Furthermore, the tight-binding modelis applied to give the expression of persistent current in this system. It is shown that, in this double-ring system, the phenomenon of entire period halving will occur.
