摘 要：The post of metering at the Khorgos gateway compressor station of the West-East Pipeline: These men and women make up the first gate controlling the flow of natural gas from Central Asia to China, and as such, they act as both gaugers and quality inspectors in normal transnational pipeline trading. They pay close attention to and analyze the changing of parameters such as the water dew point, keep aware of the changes in natural gas quality, and inform downstream stations to take measurements in real time, all to ensure safe and steady gas transportation in the long-distance pipeline.
