THE APPLICATION OF HE-NE LASER NEEDLE TO REHABILITATION OF BRAIN INJURY

摘      要：20 cases of brain injury were treated for rehabilitation by He-Ne laser irradia-tion and observed on nailfold microcirculation. The optical fiber was pointed directly to the respec-tive acupoint. The selected acupoints were: Baihui (DU20), Fengfu (DU16), Fengchi (GB20),Taiyang (EX-HN5) and Hegu (LI4); each one received 4 minutes and totally 20 minutes foronce. Treatment was continued for 10 days. The immediate analgesic effect of laser reached 82.2%. The velocity in blood flow of 84.4%patients increased (P0.01). In consequence, analgesic effect correlated closely with the velocityin the blood flow. It showed that the effect of laser therapy was superior to that of palliative treat-ment.
