摘      要：Test washback has attracted a good deal of attention from researchers from many countries in the world and considerable results have been found. By studying former researches, this paper reviews the definition of washback, relevant concept, theories, and the mechanism of washback systematically. It is hoped that this paper can enrich and deepen the development of language testing theories.
