摘 要：We are deeply saddened that Prof. Jianqiu Huang, the Managing Editor of Molecular Plant, passed away on August 1 st, 2016 at the age of 54, after fighting for a year against multiple illnesses. He is survived by his wife and daughter Prof. Jianqiu Huang was born and grew up in Changsha, Hunan Province in China. He received his BS in plant biology from Lanzhou University in 1983.
