主 题:CLASSIFICATION AND DISTRIBUTION OF GRAPTOLOIDEA AND GRAPTODENDROIDS EVOLUTION
摘 要:The present paper deals briefly with the evolution, classification, and distribution ofGraptoloidea and Graptodendroids. Two main graptolite evolutionary trends and four generalones are discussed, and four developmental stages of the graptolite faunas are noted. TheGraptodendroid family Anisograptidae is divided into three subfamilies, and the orderGraptoloidea is divided into three suborders known as Axonolipa, Axonocrypta and Axonophora, comprising 25 families and 6 subfamilies, with special references to Kinnegraptidaenov., Reteograptidae nov.,Skiagraptus and Trigonograptus . Bascd on their characters andtheir distribution, the graptolite faunas of China have been divided into six regions belongingto three types, chiefly to two main types, i.e. the South China type and the Central Chinatype and the Central China type so-called Pacific graptolite fauna resembles that of the South China type, whereas the so-called Atlantic or European graptolite fauna is similar to that of the Central China type.
