摘 要:In this paper the author has made a complete topological analysis on a machine oscillation prob- lem governed by a third order nonlinear differential equation of the following form: A (d~3δ)/(dt~3)+(d~2δ)/(dt~2)-Acotδ(dδ)/(dt) (d~2δ)/(dt~2)+((PiA)/M cotδ+C sin~2δ)(dδ)/(dt)+B sinδ-(P_i)/M=0 and has suggested a simple, graphical method for the system performance computation. A numerical example is given for illustration.
