摘 要:Based on our previous research results the regulation of a Tisza river reach was worked out. After the construction of the training structures the theory was proved. and the river accepted the regulation and contributed to the formation of the desired alignment of the course. The former regulation of the Tisza river in Hungary has significantly influenced the channel regime and sediment conditions as well. Recently on certain stretches of the river bed and bank erosion, flow disturbancies and consequent damages of the training structures have been observed. To prepare the engineering project envisaged, detailed field measurements have been performed. including characteristic channel cross-section survey. velocity profiles taken. suspended sediment and bed-load (bottom material) sampling etc. Using the results and date of the measurements. hydraulic model experiments with mobile bed and erodible banks have been performed in the laboratory. Interconnections between the pattern of transverse training structures and the sediment/channel balance have been investigated. Proposals have been made to assist engineering measures conform to the properties of the river - reach in question.
