摘      要:The promoting effect of rare earth oxides on Ni- based methanationcatalyst was investigated by temperature programmed desorption (TPD) andtemperature programmed surface reaction (TPSR ) with the help of X-rayphoto-electrospectroscopy (XPS) and infrared spectroscopy (IR). The additionof rare earth oxides not only improved the dispersion of the active component ofthe catalyst, but also changed the species and properties of the surface activesites of the catalyst. increased low energy adsorption sites and retainedhydrogen. promoted the disproportionation and decomposition of CO. Somerare earth oxides enriched on the surface after reduction and made Ni2pbinding energy lower.
