摘 要:The dose rate effect of radiation genetics has been studied intensively because of its practical as well as theoretical importance. According to the classical theory of radiation genetics, the dose-response curve for one-hit chromosome aberrations is linear and independent of the intensity or dose rate of radiation. In the case of two-hit aberrations, the frequency of aberrations increases as the square of the dose. Newcombe postulated that a break in a chromosome may restitute in a given period of time. The phenomena of chromosomal restitution or of the existence of a rejoining system were further confirmed by Wolff et al. If restitution in the first break occurs before the formation of a second break, chromosome aberration of the rearrangement type is no longer possible.
