摘      要：The three stress components, equivalent to the principal stresses and independent of each other, have been obtained by means of reasonably resolving the stress tensor, with which the limiting state of materials are analyzed. A general formula of strength suitable for the isotropic materials has been derived and the problem of strength analysis finally solved.
