摘 要:Gracilaria salicornia (C. Agardh) Dawson is a distinctive species based upon Sphaerococcus salicornia C. Agardh (1820), which was transfered to Corallopsis by Greville in 1830. Dawson (1954) made the new combination on the basis of specimens collected from Manila Bay, the Philippines. This species has now been found to be widely distributed throughout the Philippine Islands (Trono, 1983), as well as in Koror, Palau group of the Caroline Islands (Trono,1969), Solomon Islands (Womersley and Bailey, 1970), China (Chang and Xia, 1976; Yang and Chiang, 1982), and southern Japan (Yamamoto, 1978). The constricted branches that form obcuneate articulations provide a ready and, when judged in isolation, clear feature by which the taxon can be recognized.
