摘      要:The dominant feature of turbulence lies in its outstanding diffusivity, which has direct bearings on phenomena like atmospheric pollution, etc.; thereupon rest both the theoretical interest and practical significance of the study of turbulent *** Taylor’s pioneer paper appeared about 50 years ago, significant progress has been made through the effort of many investigators using Lagrange’s point of view in the treatment of diffusion problem. However, up till now the probability distribution problem of turbulent diffusion has been little studied, and certainly has not been satisfactorily solved, from theoretical point of view; and it is only after the solution of probability distribution problem that a statistical description of turbulent diffusion can be considered complete.
