摘      要：With the completion of Three Gorges Dam, the original landscapes featured with rapids and shoals are no long existent, while the high gorges form a new sight. Therefore, the reputation of Three Gorges of the Yangtze River has not been weakened; on the contrary, it has been strengthened with the recognition as the largest man-made water conservancy project in the world. Meanwhile, as the busiest waterway of transportation, it is subject to frequent geological disasters. We should give strong emphasis on landscape protection when preventing geological disasters in Three Gorges Area.
