摘      要:There is no doubt that students’ interest is of great significance to the effect of their study. High school students, whose psychological characteristics are different from elementary and junior ones, learn English with more burdens and pressure, needing interest particularly. Under the present circumstances of examination-oriented education, the majority of high school students’ interest which seems indispensable to their English learning is easily strangled by several factors during this period of English learning, which, apparently, brings a negative impact onboth the students’ English studying effect and the teacher’s English teaching quality. Therefore, an English teacher should adopt some flexible and available methods to maintain the students’ interest in English. This paper mainly focuses on a series of concrete methods in terms of how to maintain the students’ interest in the whole process of their English learning.
