摘      要:A technique using finite element and boundary integral method (FE-BI) and reciprocity theorem is presented to analyze the radiation characteristics of cavity backed antenna mounted on a conducting cone. The electric fields inside the cavity and on the aperture are obtained using finite element and boundary integral method. The far-field characteristic of the antenna is computed using reciprocity theorem. The paper begins with a general description of the method. An application of this method is given and the numerical result is compared with the experimental result.
