摘      要：Based on a fuzzy neural network, the letter presents an approach for the induction of decision trees. The approach makes use of the weights of fuzzy mappings in the fuzzy neural network which has been trained. It can realize the optimization of fuzzy decision trees by branch cutting, and improve the ratio of correctness and efficiency of the induction of decision trees.
