摘      要：There were no surgical approaches for treatment of atrial fibrillation athome before. This paper reported that rive patients of rheumatic cardiac valvular disease associated with atrial fibrillation underwent successful modified maze procedure inour hospital. The surgical technic and perioperative management were discussed.
