摘 要:Malt waste is a kind of food waste from brewery to be disposed of in the conventional waste treatment In this report, malt waste was used as a nutrient to produce biodegradable plastic polyhydroxybutyrate (PHB) by recombinant *** XL1 blue harboring the biosynthesis genes of Ralstonia eutrophus, which was constructed by our laboratory. Poly (3 hydroxybutyrate)(PHB) was extracted from the fermentation broth when PHB content and PHB concentration reached at 67.72% in dry cell, 3.64g/L in broth, respectively. The transfer yield of PHB from malt waste is 0.37per gram of carbohydrate of malt waste. PHB polymer was identified by GC, DSC and NMR.
